When I moved to a beach town called Margate, NJ, I found a shell. 
Well, actually, I found many, many shells, but I didn’t want to hog them all. Instead, I began drawing them. And then drawing my partner’s plants. And then painting the ocean and bugs and sea creatures and… 
Born in Maryland to artist parents and raised around musicians, writers, and other creatives, I have been producing art, in some way, since I started walking.
After attending Maryland Institute, College of Art, I found a career in graphic design and copywriting. While I enjoy my work and the creative aspects of it, drawing and painting provide me with an unequivocal sense of happiness that I hope you are able to feel when you look at my work.
Though I don’t know what my next subject matter will be, I know it will likely involve the intricate, recurring patterns of growth, change, and movement captured in and throughout the horizons and wildlife around the shore. 
Or it will be a glass jar of color pencils. 
Only time will tell.
